LRG Open Networking Event and celebration of LRG’s 25th Birthday
Venue: The Devereux Pub, 20 Devereux Court, Temple, London WC2R 3JJ (back to our favourite venue!)
Cost: LRG Members – free; non-LRG – £5
The committee has been so busy this year, organising a large number of CPD and social events, we rather lost sight of the fact that 2019 is our 25th Anniversary. As it is too late to plan an anniversary event in 2019, we have decided to organise a cake and celebratory drink for the traditional January Open Networking Evening.
The focus of the Open Networking event will be on the benefits of partnering or collaboration. Nathalie Reis will introduce a discussion on partnering with other translators, for proofreading, working in tandem, marketing, accountability buddies, after which small discussion groups can share their own experiences, if any, and think about advantages and disadvantages.
Tuesday, 4 February 2020, 14:00 to 16:00
